How to Adjust an Invoice in Accounts Payable for Sage 100 ERP

Vendor invoices can easily get entered incorrectly and you may find yourself needing to modify or adjust the previously entered invoice.  This blog will show you how to adjust an invoice in Accounts Payable in just a few quick steps.

Invoice Data Entry

  1. Select the Accounts Payable Module
  2. Click on Main
  3. Click on Invoice Data Entry and the following window will display

4.  Enter the Vendor Number 5.  Enter the invoice number that needs to be adjusted.  The following window will pop up

6.  Click on the Adjust button

7.  Make the proper adjustment to the invoice.  In this example, this invoice will be adjusted to $400 by increasing the original invoice by $20

8.  Click on the lines tab and enter the appropriate account, where this adjustment will be posted

9.  Click Accept and then click the printer button to update the Invoice Data Entry

10.  Sage 100 ERP will prompt you to begin the update process.

Next time you realize you entered an invoice incorrectly in a previous invoice, it’s a few simple steps to make an adjustment.
