- Wear light clothing
- Drink lots of water
- Pack comfortable shoes
Getting around New Orleans
Getting to and from places in a new city can be a challenge. Here are a few transportation tips:
- Uber – a ride share service offered in many metropolitan cities, including New Orleans is a great option. Often cheaper than a taxi or other shuttle service, Uber allows you to get from point A to point B at the click of a button. Download the app, put in your pick-up and drop-off locations and an Uber driver will be at your service within minutes. You can even see what the fare will be before you choose the service.
- Street Cars – this is another option for quick trips around the convention center and French Quarter. You can’t beat a $1.25 one-way trip fare. norta.com
- Shuttles – Sage will have shuttles running from the 3 major hotels to the convention center. Look for more information closer to Sage Summit.
