Sage Transform 2021 Recap: Event Highlights & Key Announcements
Sage Transform 2021 took place over November 8th through the 12th and had some great highlights and announcements we thought you should know about! Read on to learn about session highlights, various events that went on, and more!
Announcements
Throughout keynotes, Sage placed a focus on customers being able to own their time by streaming workflows through automation. For example, Sage is delivering new product enhancements around digitalizing the process of inputting and paying bills. Customers can now send bills to the system by email, and the system will read the PDF or other attachment and construct an Accounts Payable bill for approval.
Sage emphaized helping customers grow their own way enabling them to thrive using the tools they need to succeed. Sage leaders also demonstrated how the company is growing its wholesale distribution operations by adding functionality like pick, pack, and ship to Sage Intacct for operational users. Sage has also teamed up with Scanforce to enable mobile barcode scanning to help with warehouse management.
In addition to delivering enhancements to reporting/analytics capabilities and additional ways for teams to collaborate and get work done, Sage leaders also showcased improved mobile capabilities. Sage Intacct Mobile has been updated to provide a better user experience that takes advantage of the innate capabilities of modern mobile devices. All of this and more was announced at this years event and we are excited for what’s to come with Sage!
Session Highlights
A huge part of Sage Transform was all of the great and informational sessions that went on. There was over 175 different sessions that ranged from budgeting and planning to supply chain management. Our very own Laura Sloan had a few sessions of her own and did an awesome talking about topics such as Automate Data Population with Smart Event APIs, Custom Views or Custom Reports? Which is Right for You?, and Panel—Expert Reporting Wisdom: Tips & Tricks .

Marketplace Expo
The Sage Intacct Marketplace Expo was another highlight of the Las Vegas event. Nearly 65 exhibiting or participating sponsors were available to Transform 2021 attendees. The expo brought together a diverse group of partners under one roof, all of whom offered pre-integrated solutions that complement Sage Intacct’s award-winning financial management software. This helped add to the networking and made the experience even more enjoyable.
Our Team
We had a group of our very own DSD members attend Sage Transform 2021 and represent us! They had a great time learning from sessions, networking with old and new friends, and enjoying the atmosphere that Sage provided with this event. Our team also got a chance to have dinner and reconnect with the Avalara team that was in attendance and had a great time. Overall everyone had a great time at Sage Transform 2021 and are excited for what’s in store for the future of Sage!
